🚀 About the Role
The Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for building Whippy’s OEM and reseller partnership program from the ground up. This is a full-cycle outbound role, meaning you’ll be finding, sourcing, and closing your own deals—not inheriting an existing pipeline.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has successfully built channel or OEM partnerships in the past. You should be comfortable cold calling, using list-building software (like Clay), and finding creative ways to get in front of decision-makers. Bonus points if you have existing software partnerships and relationships that you can leverage.
Your goal: Drive $750K in new ARR through channel partnerships, resellers, and OEM deals.
⚡ What You'll Do
- Source, develop, and close new partnerships – You will own outbound efforts, identifying and engaging with potential OEM partners, resellers, and white-label opportunities.
- Cold outreach & pipeline generation – Build lists, leverage sales intelligence tools (like Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator), and cold call prospects to create new opportunities.
- Develop & refine Whippy’s channel strategy – Define our ideal partner profile (IPP), sales motion, and value propositions for different partner types.
- Negotiate OEM & reseller agreements – Work directly with software platforms, CRMs, and resellers to structure deals that drive long-term revenue.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle – From prospecting to closing, you’ll be responsible for nurturing relationships, handling objections, and structuring agreements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally – Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure partners are set up for success.
- Optimize outbound sales processes – Continuously refine and improve prospecting, messaging, and conversion tactics.
- Hit aggressive revenue targets – Own a $750K ARR quota, ensuring a predictable and scalable channel sales motion.
🎯 What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in channel sales, OEM partnerships, or reseller sales – Preferably in communications, automation, or SaaS.
- Proven outbound sales experience – You have successfully built your own pipeline and closed deals through cold outreach.
