We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to own our brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategy. You’ll be Whippy’s first marketing hire, reporting directly to the founders and working side-by-side with the sales team. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on role—perfect for someone who's been a Product Marketing Manager, Marketing Manager, or Generalist Marketer, and is hungry for more ownership.
You’ll create, execute, and own the marketing engine yourself—no teams to manage yet, just you building from scratch.
⚡ What you'll do
- Positioning & Storytelling – Define and evolve Whippy’s brand messaging. Shape how we tell our story on the website, in sales conversations, and across the market.
- Product & Lifecycle Marketing – Lead product launches and drive targeted email campaigns (outbound, lifecycle, announcements) that convert.
- Sales Enablement – Create case studies, pitch decks, one-pagers, and industry-specific collateral that shorten deal cycles and drive revenue.
- Events & Webinars – Run marketing efforts around webinars, virtual events, and trade shows—including strategy, logistics, and follow-up.
- Content & Social – Grow our brand presence through organic content distribution (LinkedIn, X, industry blogs) and strategic thought leadership.
⚠️ Note: You’ll be expected to both write the content and run the campaigns yourself—this role is ideal for someone who thrives in ownership and autonomy.
🎯 What we're looking for
- 2–4+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally at a startup
- Comfortable being a team of one: strategy + execution
- A strong writer and communicator who can translate technical features into clear customer value
- Scrappy and entrepreneurial—you’re energized by building from the ground up
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, Webflow, Apollo, or similar
- Able to show past work in key areas like B2B case studies, webinars, product launch emails, lifecycle campaigns, sales enablements materials and new feature announcements.

- Base Salary: $100k-$130k/ year based on experience
